Ohio's oldest general store appropriately sits in the heart of Amish country. You'll find this truly charming general store at the center of Mesopotamia Township, the fourth largest Amish settlement in the country and the second largest settlement in Ohio. 2. Pfeiffer Station General Store
Established in 1849, this still operating general store truly provides you with a journey back in time. Baked goods, fresh cheeses and a large old fashioned candy section are just a few of the charming finds here. Pfeiffer Station General Store is located at 19950 Co. Rd. 144, Kenton, OH 43326.
3. Olivesburg General Store
Also founded in the 1840s, Olivesburg General Store still operates today and still provides the atmosphere of "the good ole' days" in Richland County. This old fashioned general store features hand dipped ice cream cones, old time candies, speciality groceries, antiques, Amish crafts and fresh made deli sandwiches with Amish cheeses. Within downtown Point Pleasant, (a small unincorporated community in Clermont County along the Ohio River,) sits this closed general store along U.S. Hwy. 52.
5. General Store and More

6. Beeker's General Store
