An enchanting canopy made up of rows of breathtaking trees, The Mall is known for having the one of the largest amounts of remaining American Elms in all of North America.

This stretch of Central Park is also known for having the widest pedestrian path, originally built to be accessible for the size of carriages.
Once referred to as the "Open Air Hall of Reception", there are so many reasons why you'll want to explore this small area of Central Park. The quarter-mile pathway is surprisingly the only intentional straight line that you can find in the entire park, making it simply one of a kind.
