It's cold outside. There's no denying it. But, dropping temps don't have to automatically equal lots of layers and staying in your house. In fact, there's plenty to do in New Hampshire throughout the winter months. Sure there are hikes and winter coasters and lots of snow-related things to do, but we recommend something totally different! This winter, when you're in need of something to do consider this indoor water park. The best part? The beach!
New Hampshire's largest indoor water park also happens to be one of the best ways to get through a frigid winter!
Kahuna Laguna in North Conway features four water slides, a fun play tower, a water basketball area and a 25-person hot tub.
And, best of all, all the fun is housed indoors so you can pretend it's the middle of July while winter rages outside.
There's tons to do here, but if you're trying to will your soul into believing it's summer you might want to spend most of your time at the beach area.
The beach is part of the 67,000-gallon wave pool, which features three patterns of three-foot waves. It might not be the Caribbean, but it's a great way to entertain friends and family who just can't bear the cold any more.
Kahuna Laguna Indoor Water Park is located at 2251 White Mountain Hwy, North Conway. They're open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday they're open from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can obtain a day-pass to visit for $40 or $50 per person depending on whether or not it's peak or non-peak season.
