A cool chill usually takes over the nighttime air once we enter autumn, and twinkling lights illuminate homes throughout our neighborhoods. Once the sun goes down in October, the fun begins, especially when you head over to Silver Dollar City in Missouri. Bundle up for a one-of-a-kind autumn adventure that features seasonal goodies, operating rides, and thousands of glowing pumpkins.
Silver Dollar City in Branson is the place to go for summer and holiday fun. Autumn days at the park mean the Harvest Festival.
The daytime features Craft Days, where you'll be treated to a full menu of fun - from a visit to the Cowboy Emporium to meeting the craftsmen on hand.
Once the sun goes down, the amusement park transforms into a spectacular wonderland of glowing lights, operating rides, and thousands of illuminated pumpkins. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m.
Pumpkins in the City boasts a ton of fun for the whole family. It's not scary, so don't worry if you're bringing the little ones along. Take the Woodland Hike to admire the illuminated pumpkins, and...
Stop by the Pumpkin Plaza, where you can meet and snap photos with Peter and Penelope Pumpkin, and stock up on glow souvenirs for your nighttime adventure.
A selection of rides will also be open, weather-permitting, allowing you a bit of summer fun in the middle of fall. Time Traveler, PowderKeg, and Wildfire are among those rides expected to run.
If you love pumpkin-flavored, well, everything, you'll absolutely love all of the goodies available at the park. Pumpkin funnel cake, pumpkin soft serve, and pumpkin spice latte are all on the menu.
You'll also find other classic fall goodies - from hot and cold apple cider to caramel apples.
The Harvest Festival runs through October 31, 2020. However, the park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Buy tickets.
