The Hindu Temple of Mississippi is located on Vernon Jones Avenue in Brandon.

Modeled after the Hindu temples that fill India, the Hindu Temple of Mississippi is the only temple of its kind in Mississippi as well as the surrounding states of Arkansas, Louisiana, and Alabama.
Like traditional temples, it’s made from a mixture of water, sand, and cement.
An architectural masterpiece, the massive temple’s exterior is adorned in handcrafted detailing.
Between the beautiful carvings and stunning statues, it’s as if the temple was transported straight from India.

Aiming for optimum authenticity, all of the complex craftsmanship was completed by talented artisans, who came to Mississippi from India specifically to work on the temple.
