Lately we've been featuring quite a few holiday-infused spots around Baltimore, from Christmas lights to entire road trips. We're keeping the festive spirit alive by discussing a nearby town that's full of spirit. This spot doesn't get enough recognition so check it out and consider visiting this December.
Did you know that the town of Dundalk becomes decked out each and every year for the holiday season?
The annual Christmas Holiday Hoopla commences with a parade, local events, and the party continues through the month.
Little ones can visit Santa and Mrs. Claus. Whether they've been naughty or nice, every child deserves a visit with the big man to reveal what's on their wish list.
And don't miss out on the miniature train rides. It's okay to close your eyes and pretend you're at the North Pole.
The Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Department has a holiday train garden that will run nightly through January 7th. Seeing all the little details up close is fascinating, indeed.
Lastly, don't forget to shop local. Several of Dundalk's area businesses decorate their windows in glittering displays. If you have some last minute holiday shopping to do, consider finding one-of-a-kind items at these homey spots.
