There is certainly no shortage of lovely shops dotted throughout Maine. From small candy shops to huge flea markets, those with curiosity and the need for spending will be kept busy here in Vacationland! While we could give you tons of places to explore (like these flea markets!) today we want to tell you all about a shop focused on all things bees (and more!)
Beelicious Is the creation of Monica Carrington, a Chicago native who came north to create something special.
She and her husband assumed they start a restaurant when they arrived in Maine, but seems their calling was more of the...market variety.
Meaning, they have one of the most lovely markets in Wiscasset.
While the name implies a focus on all things bees, there's so much more to this unique shop.
While you'll certainly find products focused on honey, such as soda...
...and, of course, honey!
Carrington and her husband have also worked to create a shop to find locally made foods...
...as well as foods from Europe that you won't find anywhere else.
There are also deliciously Maine-made favorites like whoopie pies.
Soothe your the winter chill with homemade tea blends...
...and specially prepared spices.
But, most importantly, this is a great place to stock up on gifts for the holidays.
Skip Amazon and purchase local photos, hand-paintd ornaments and mugs.
They've even expanded to offer cosmetics.
Beelicious is best visited when you know you need something, but aren't entirely sure what!
They're open daily from 10am to 8pm.
Beelicious is located at 60 Main Street in Wiscasset, Maine. You can call them on 207-687-8234 or visit them on Facebook here.
