If you’re interested in antiques and collectibles, then you simply have to check out this massive antique mall. Nestled in the rural community of Washington, this massive antique mall will take you all day to explore, and you’re bound to find some amazing treasures to take home.
The Old Schoolhouse Antique Mall is 40,000 square feet full of antiques and collectibles that are housed in an old schoolhouse.
The schoolhouse was built in 1938, and it’s the only antique mall in Louisiana to be listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
You’ll spend hours exploring the Schoolhouse’s two stories of treasures.
And there’s also a ’50’s era gymnasium next door with even more antiques waiting for you to explore.
And when you need to take a break from shopping, head over to the Old Schoolhouse Cafe for a delicious home-cooked meal.
The 50’s style cafe is the perfect theme to compliment the afternoon after rummaging through tons of antiques, collectibles, books, and furniture.
The 2018 Spring Antique Fair and Yard Sale is just around the corner, so you can expect even more vendors to show up displaying their goods.
They hold the fair once in the fall (in October) and then again in the spring, and this year it will take place April 13-15th. More than 200 additional dealers from across the country the over the six acres of the Schoolhouse grounds to showcase their quality antiques.
The antique mall is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is great because you’re going to need all weekend to explore this massive space.
You can find the Antique Mall at 123 S Church St, Washington, Louisiana 70589.
