Looking for something new and exciting to do this summer? Well, this amazing little aqua park in Lafayette is just what you need to beat the heat. After a few quick lessons, you'll be riding the waves like a pro!

Cajun X Cables is Louisiana’s first and only full-size cable wake park.

Hiding in plain sight, this amazing little aqua park is heading into its 6th season and is the perfect way to beat the heat during those Louisiana summers. Not only is this the only wake park in Louisiana, but it's the only one in the country that's family owned and operated.

The park allows beginners to learn to wakeboard in a controlled environment.

There are no boats pulling the riders — it’s all done by a mechanical pulley system that’ll pull you around the lake. It's safer and more environmentally friendly than traditional water sports being propelled by a boat.

First timers will receive training on the dock before they’re ready to go.

Their knowledgeable staff will tell you everything you need to know ahead of time. You can also schedule private lessons if you prefer.

Riders 10 and older can enjoy hours of fun cruising through the lake at their own pace, and maybe even trying some jumps!

Don't worry, they didn't forget about the youngsters! Younger riders can still have some fun on their 2.0 training lake.

If you don’t have any gear, don’t worry! Cajun X Cables has everything you need to get on the water.

But you can also bring your own gear.

There's also a volleyball court to pass the time in between sessions.

This year they are also adding an aqua glide fun park and monthly movie nights. Stay tuned to their social media for updates!
