1. World's Largest Rocking Chair - Casey
Standing 56.5 feet tall, this is the largest chair in general in the world. It sits across from the world's largest wind chime in downtown Casey.
2. Statue of the World's Tallest Man - Alton
Robert Pershing Waldo was born in 1918 in Alton, Illinois and, to this day, is still the tallest man ever born. At the time of his death he weighed 490 pounds and stood at 8'11".
3. World's Largest Golf Tee - Casey
This tee sits on the Casey Country Club's golf course and attracts visitors from all around the state. It is 30 feet tall and weighs 6,659 pounds.
4. World's Largest Ketchup Bottle - Collinsville
This Collinsville water tower does much more than hydrate the town. At 170 feet tall, it draws attention from miles away and is a well-known landmark off Route 159.
5. World's Largest Wind Chime - Casey
At nearly 50 feet high, these wind chimes are known for more than the beautiful music they make. It is located in downtown Casey across from the world's largest rocking chair.
6. World's Largest Pitch Fork - Casey
This over-sized farm tool is as heavy as it is long. Weighing nearly one ton, it is 60 feet long and provides unique photo opportunities.
7. World's Largest Tiffany Dome - Chicago
Depicting the signs of the zodiac in fish scale-shaped Tiffany Favrile glass, the dome is 38 feet in diameter. The stained-glass masterpiece is at the Chicago Cultural Center.
8. World's Largest Wooden Shoes - Casey
Illinoisans love their Dutch heritage, and what better way to celebrate than with the largest pair of wooden shoes ever. Each is 11.5 feet long and 5.5 feet wide. Each also weighs over one ton.
9. World's Largest Mailbox - Casey
Amongst many other larger-than-life objects in this town is the famous mail box. Crawl inside the 76-feet-tall structure and get a look at Casey from above.
10. World's Largest Railsplitter Covered Wagon - Lincoln
With a total height of 24 feet, this statue attracts the attention of anyone who drives by. Just off Route 66, it depicts Abraham Lincoln reading while sitting in the front seat of the wagon.
