Amador Flower Farm might just be the best nursery you’ll ever visit. This massive nursery is hosting a two-day festival this spring– it’s bound to be the most colorful spring festival in Northern California! If you've been looking for a way to make spring in NorCal even more special than in previous years, then take your family for a fun outing to this lovely festival.
Amador Flower Farm Spring Fling takes place annually in April.
Join in for a day of fun gardening-related activities. There will be seminars and demonstrations for gardeners of all skill levels.
Spring Fling will also have free tram rides all day (weather permitting). This is a fun way to see the garden and entertain the kiddos.
Amador Flower Farm is famous for growing a wide variety of daylilies, including vintage varieties. They sell more than 1,200 varieties of these large colorful flowers, both in-store and online.
Amador Flower Farm is on 14 acres covered in gardens, including potted plants, growing areas, and landscape demonstration gardens. It's the perfect place for a NorCal spring festival!
The owners invite visitors to pack a picnic and bring a blanket to enjoy a lunch outside under the 300-year-old Heritage Oak Trees. Picnic tables can be reserved for $5.
The flower farm is a beautiful place to explore.
Stroll through the gardens and pick out some new plants to purchase for your own garden.
Inside the flower farm’s store, visitors will find tons of garden and home decor.
You can buy flowers from the online store, but not home and garden decor, so if you see something you want, buy it at the store.
Celebrate this green season at the most colorful spring festival in Northern California!
The event is free for everyone, plus free parking!
Pets are not allowed, so leave your critters at home. Spring Fling will take place rain or shine, so it is worth it to come regardless of the weather!
If you have been searching for things to do in Northern California in spring, this festival should top your list! Amador County has many cute towns as well. We’ve featured the walkable Sutter Creek for its Gold Rush artifacts, as well as its many restaurants, bars, and antique stores. Amador County also has a booming wine industry, with more than enough wineries to see on a tour. Wine is just one of the best tours in Northern California! For some more Amador County nature, check out the Black Chasm Cavern in the town of Volcano. Looking for a place to stay during your explorations of the area?
