Luckily, here in Southern California, we can enjoy ice skating season all winter long without having to bundle up. One of our favorite destinations to enjoy this tradition is by heading to this historic ship in SoCal that’s rumored to be haunted. Ice skating has never been so thrilling! You may already know the rumor about the Queen Mary being haunted, but did you know this haunted ship turns into a Christmas wonderland during the holidays where you can ice skate on a massive rink right on the upper deck?
Although the entire ship is dressed up in holiday cheer, the real magic is located on the upper deck where you'll find the True North Ice Rink.
Not only is it pure bliss to skate around the ice in this winter wonderland, but you'll also get to enjoy a stunning setting with a breathtaking view of the Long Beach harbor.
The price for ice skating and skate rentals is $15 per person. You can have a blast out on the ice for up to 45-minutes for each skating session.
Please note, access to the rink is on a first-come, first-served basis as there are no reservations for the rink. Make sure to plan your day accordingly so you can have the best experience possible at True North Ice Rink.
Christmas festivities at the Queen Mary will run between November 29 and January 1. This fantastic event also includes many other holiday-themed activities, so make sure to add this to your holiday calendar.
