Trying to get your weekend plans settled? If you’re trying to figure out how to work in bargain hunting for vintage items, purchasing fresh veggies, and taking in some entertainment, then we know just the place for you to spend part (or all) of your weekend! It's the awesome Tanque Verde Swap Meet, and we can't get enough. It's one of the best flea markets in Arizona, hands down - come see why.
This is the Tanque Verde Swap Meet, one of Arizona’s best outdoor shopping experiences. It is open weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and is one enthralling experience.
At the swap meet, you'll find all kinds of items to purchase here: books, LPs and other records, clothing, sports equipment, art, and more.
You'll even find fresh fruits, vegetables, and other foods available for purchase!
The swap meet also features live music on select days, as well as plenty of other entertainment. This includes DJs, dancers, wrestling, and family-oriented events.
If the kids start to get antsy with all the walking, then you can take them to "Dizzyland." This fun area features $1 rides, pony rides, balloon artists, and even movie nights for the whole family to enjoy.
Meanwhile, don't forget to stop by one of the many food vendors for some freshly cooked meals. You'll find tacos, chicken shawarma, Sonoran dogs, burgers, and more. There are even vegetarian options available.
Other food and drink spots include beer stands and an ice cream vendor.
What would you hope to find during a visit here?
The Tanque Verde Swap Meet is located near the intersection of Palo Verde Road and Ajo Way. It is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. For details about hours, events, and more, visit its official website.
