If you’re looking for a lovely little spot with miles of trails and plenty of peace and quiet in the heart of Delaware, head to Blackbird State Forest. This serene patch of woods offers miles of lightly-trafficked trails and gorgeous scenery all year long. You can even camp here any time of year!

The campgrounds at Blackbird State Forest are primitive and offer no shower facilities. You will find on-site parking, fire rings, picnic tables, grills, and chemical toilets in the campground. There are only eight sites in the forest and you can make a reservation on the Delaware State Forest Camping website.
