Let’s face it…once you’ve lived in Delaware, you’re ruined for anywhere else. The First State really is first…in so many ways. Let’s face it; you can leave Delaware, but nowhere else can ever be the same.
Other states have their music festivals. But nothing can compare with the four days of bliss we get at the Firefly Music Festival.
Sure, you might find a decent pizza in some other state...but we know that our Italian food is the best.

...because in most other states, you'd pay sales tax!
Not only can we enjoy this stunning view, we can relish the fact that this is place that made history. You certainly won't find another place like Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge anywhere else in the country.
It's the perfect sport - anyone can play! And we actually enjoy it all over the state (including several of our state parks).
I challenge you to find another brewery like Dogfish Head Brewery. It's both incredible and incredibly strange....and we love it.
Can you find fries like Thrasher's elsewhere? We're definitely spoiled here. A nice bucket of these babies with some vinegar...pure heaven.

Capriotti's serves up the best sub in the country; everyone knows that. The Bobbie has been named the best sandwich in the United States, and we couldn't agree more.
It's strange, but people in other places just can't imagine pumpkins as projectiles. They're seriously missing out. Folks in Delaware know that the best thing to do with those excess pumpkins is Punkin Chunkin.
Being the first state is pretty cool, right? Every other state comes after Delaware, in every sense.
