There are seemingly endless ways to appreciate the holiday season in Delaware. From historic homes to Santa’s house, planning and dreaming can be almost as fun as visiting. Of course, no holiday season is complete without holiday lights. Driving under the sparkly strings can be fun, but this year we’re all about walk-thru Christmas lights in Delaware!
Riverfront Wilmington is a fantastic destination to see the best of the state. And, recent redevelopment makes it even more attractive to both residents and visitors.
And, things are especially lovely around the holidays. With the introduction of Riverbright, the Riverfront Development Corporation has truly made the area come alive with lights. And, in the holiday season a display entitled "Holiday Bright" takes over the show.
The two-mile Riverwalk runs between Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park and the DuPont Environmental Education Center. The entirety of this path is lit, making it a great way to spend some time in the evening.
Holiday Magic, a part of the Riverbright Wilmington project, is a spectacular sight to see this season. Put it on your list, and then make plans to see it again!
Riverbright Wilmington typically begins at the end of November and runs through the end of the holiday season. Best of all, no tickets are required.
