A small state with small towns meant lots of small high schools, with class sizes in the double digits and graduation ceremonies that lasted less than an hour being normal. When you compare small high schools in Kent and Sussex county with the larger, urban schools like Newark High School, it’s clear to see there’s a difference in the way things went down in our tiny, rural classrooms. How many of these can you relate to?
There was no point in having a small gathering, if you were having a party, your whole high school class was there. Luckily, that was only about 30 people.
They knew that your brother was a troublemaker, or that your sister never missed an assignment. Either way, you were doomed before you even step foot inside.
There were only like five clubs in your entire school... so if you weren't a part of them, you were on your own for extracurriculars.
