Visit This Fascinating Shipwreck Museum In Delaware For A Unique Glimpse Into The Past
The turbulent history of the Delaware coast is fascinating, and even to this day, ships wreck along the coast. Our state has had its fair share of pirates, lost treasures, mutinies and more in the waters offshore, and the Discoversea Shipwreck Museum hosts one of the largest collections of recovered artifacts in the country.
The Discoversea Shipwreck Museum is a seasonal attraction, and they’re open from Thursday to Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m beginning June 1st through August. In September, they’re open daily from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from October to December, and in April and May, you can visit on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. From January through March, the museum is closed.
