Take A Ride At Delaware’s Steam Engine Museum For An Unforgettable Outing
Looking for something fun to do this summer? From June to November, Auburn Valley State Park hosts Steamin’ Days with the Marshall Steam Museum! Technology geeks, history buffs, and children of all ages will have a blast exploring this gorgeous state park and museum.
Auburn Valley State Park is Delaware's newest state park, and it's one of the most unique places you can visit.
The Auburn Heights property is home to the Marshall Steam Museum, where you can learn all about steam engine cars and trains that once ruled the roads and rails.
Step inside the museum to see vintage cars and engines for yourself. You'll learn so much about technology thanks to the collection saved by the original property owners, the Marshalls!
The best time to visit is during one of their Steamin Day festivals. On the first Sunday of each month from June to November, get up close and personal with these fascinating trains and cars.
The best part is taking a ride on the small scale model steam engine train. Your conductor will tell you all about the train, their engines, and the beautiful property.
