The Hagley Museum and Library is a DuPont Estate dedicated to preserving the family's history, as well as that of early American business.
Hagleys 235+ acres contain restored mills, a workers' community, and the original home and gardens of the du Pont family.
It's easy to get a glimpse of industrial life, thanks to the Museum's dedication to preserving early American history.
The grounds are along the banks of the beautiful Brandywine River, and as you explore, you'll be whisked away into an enchanting land that time forgot.
The old Powder Mills have been completely restored, and you can get up close with exactly what launched the DuPont family's incredible success in America.
The millworks are so impressive - and it is an incredible opportunity to get up close and personal with these huge pieces of American history!
Walk along the wooden bridges that cross the beautiful bubbling streams, out into the unbelievable gardens.
