Delaware’s Fenwick Island State Park Is A Natural Oasis Between Two Busy, Bustling Beach Towns

If your idea of a day at the beach involves peace and quiet far from the bustling boardwalks and restaurants of Ocean City, MD, or the busy beach towns above the Indian River Inlet, you’ll fall in love with the 344-acre oasis that is Fenwick Island State Park.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Lifeguards patrol the beach during the day from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For more information on amenities and happenings at Fenwick Island State Park, visit the park’s website, here. There is a $5 entrance fee for Delaware residents, and out-of-staters will pay $10 for access.
