The Beautiful Alapocas Woods Trail Is An Easy 1.8-mile Hike In Delaware That’s Great For Beginners And Kids
While we might be biased, Delaware is one of the best places in the northeast to enjoy the outdoors. The landscape here is unexpectedly unique compared to other states nearby and enjoying time outside is something we’re all lucky to be able to do. We might not have the giant peaks of the west, but what we lack in height we make up for in relaxing and beautiful ways to enjoy the outdoors.
Alapocas Run State Park is open daily from 8 a.m. to sunset. You can check out their website to learn more and see each day’s sunset time.
Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
