Delaware is full of charming towns, like Lewes, Georgetown, Dover and Bethany Beach. With so many fun towns in the two lower counties, New Castle County gets overlooked quite a bit. One town, located outside of Wilmington, is the type of town that you’ll fall in love with as soon as you see it in person.
It was founded as a Georgian utopian community in the early 1900s. It's located just outside of Wilmington in beautiful New Castle County, and surrounded by the similar villages of Ardentown and Ardencroft.
Since its founding, Arden has been the home to many Gilds, or clubs, which focus on the many interests of the town's population.

There's also a Shakespeare Gild that performs at the lovely Stephens Theater, a Dinner Gild that hosts community dining nights, a Folk Gild that puts on entertaining dancing nights, and more. You can find more information about the Gilds and the events that they host on the Arden Club website.
