1. Breakwater Light, Cape Henlopen
The Breakwater Light is one of the most photographed Delaware landmarks. It seems that everyone has a picture of the light at sunrise or sunset! Even if you stay away from the Delaware beaches, chances are you have a postcard or print with this iconic lighthouse.
2. The Dolles Sign, Rehoboth Beach
A picture of the Dolles sign high above the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk brings a flood of emotions to many Delawareans. Paul Revere gets all the credit for midnight rides, but Rodney's Independence Day ride through a thunderstorm was so important that an entire area of Wilmington is named after the man - along with a school district and several streets! Delawareans pay tribute to him with an iconic statue in our biggest city.
