A young girl wearing a red checkered dress is seen playing in the pools and fountains on the property.She was even spotted during the inauguration Governor Michael Castle in 1985.

Delaware City is the state's most haunted town. Every hotel in the vicinity of downtown is home to resident ghosts! 3. The Tragic Story of Maggie's Bridge
Over one hundred years ago, a young woman named Maggie was decapitated in a carriage accident while she was pregnant. Today, she still haunts a section of Woodland Church Rd outside of Seaford. Legend has it that if you stand on Maggie's Bridge and shout "Maggie, I have your baby!",
she will appear and chase you away.
