There’s Nothing Better Than Delaware’s Mouthwatering Bacon Festival
Delaware’s beaches have some of the best events in the country during the summer – from everything going on at the Rehoboth Bandstand to the legendary surfing at Fenwick Island. But this year, for the fourth time in a row, the best Delaware Beach event is happening in the Spring.
Just when you thought that there wasn't a way to make them even better, they're about to get a serious upgrade. The Dewey-Rehoboth Bacon Festival is returning to the beach!
The festival is a two day event, on April 22 and April 23. Twenty amazing local restaurants, food trucks, and bars will be participating this year! Join them for the most incredible bacon creations that you did not think were possible.
Have you ever had chocolate covered bacon? What about Bacon S'mores, or a Bacon Taco? Try all of these things and more during the heavenly Delaware Bacon Festival weekend. The weekend begins on Friday night, where many restaurants and bars start their Bacon Fest specials at Happy Hour. Then, Saturday and Sunday, have your fill of bacon samples and delicious creations from all of the various vendors the event features. Then, cap off your perfect weekend on Sunday night with a family bonfire on New Orleans Street in Dewey.
There are only 300 VIP Passes being offered, and prices are going up as the event gets closer! VIP Admission includes an extra hour of tasting (early admission), a custom scorecard, an offical t-shirt and part of the first wave to sample the bacon goodies and treats at every location on both festival days. Plus, VIPs are eligible for special lodging rates and other great offers all weekend. VIP Tickets currently start at $45.
