11 Epic Adventures You Can Have In Delaware In A Day or Less
There’s a lot to see in Delaware, but much of it is overlooked by those staying in our great state. If you’ve got time to kill, check out everything you can do during just one day in Delaware, and pick one to be your first spring outing!
1. Hike Cape Henlopen
Cape Henlopen State Park offers miles of trails that lead to an enormous dune, or to an abandoned World War II fort. Choose your adventure!
2. Paddle Trap Pond
Delaware's best kayaking spot allows you to float in between impressive baldcypress trees. Have a picnic after you're back on land!

7. Attend a fair, carnival, or festival
The best part about Delaware is that every town is within driving distance! You can attend a festival, fair or other event nearly every weekend in the warmer months.
8. Explore Winterthur's Enchanted Woods
Walk this fairy trail and see the tulip tree house, acorn tea room, serpentine path, story stones, and even a fairy ring!
9. Stroll the country's best boardwalk

The village of Arden is unlike any place on earth! The town has various clubs, including a Shakespeare "Gild," where you can catch may of the Bard's best plays.
