Delaware’s a state full of small towns, where an old fashioned way of life is still present. Everybody in town knows everybody else, you catch up with your neighbors when you drive past them in your truck, and the corner store is still the place to go to grab your morning coffee and catch up on the town gossip. There’s one charming general store that you’ll pass in the tiny town of St. Georges, where you might expect to grab a sandwich off the griddle, maybe a bag of chips, and be on your way… and you would be dead wrong.
St. George's Country Store is everything a general store normally isn't!
Though it looks quaint and quiet on the outside, if you don't know what you're walking into, you're in for a treat. Head on over to 1 Delaware Street in Saint Georges, Delaware 19733 for the time of your life.
You'll start to get a feeling you're in for something different as you approach the door.
St. George's Country Store is one of the only places that plays live music in Delaware almost every night! From Tuesday through Saturday, you can catch some incredible blues on the stage at St. George's.
