With Attractions Galore, The Small Town Of Bethany Beach, Delaware Is Perfect For A Family Getaway

As any resident of the First State knows, we’ve got no shortage of small towns that are perfect weekend getaways. It seems like just about every small town in Delaware has attractions galore and a cute little boardwalk that’s just begging for you to take a weekend trip there. One such area is Bethany Beach in Sussex County. The town hovers around 1,000 residents throughout most of the year, but in the summer months, more than 15,000 tourists arrive from all over the country. Just one visit and you’ll see why it’s such a popular destination!

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Once you’ve had your fun in the sun and are ready for a meal, make sure to visit the Cottage Cafe (we highly recommend the fries!) or DiFebo’s for some delicious authentic Italian.
