This Short Hike Will Take You To The Best View In Delaware
Winter has been too long this year – I’m ready for beach weather. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a long time before any of us are laying out on the sand, tanning, and splashing in the waves! If you’re looking for a great hike to welcome spring and immerse yourself in the salt air that Delawareans crave, head to Cape Henlopen State Park for some beachy hiking and the best view in Delaware.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Cape Henlopen State Park is located at 5099 Cape Henlopen Dr. in Lewes, Delaware, and is open every day from 8 AM - Sunset. The Bike Loop Trail is three miles of paved walkway, though some side trails are sandy.
Have you climbed to the top of the observation tower? What did you spot from way up high? Tell us in the comments below!
