There’s A Small Town In Delaware Known For Its Truly Epic Tacos

Georgetown, Delaware, is well known for being diverse. The town is central to Delaware’s agricultural producers, and it has drawn a large immigrant population over the years. In addition to adding rich culture to Slower Lower, the immigrant population of Georgetown has brought incredible cuisine to the area, and Georgetown is now known as the place to go if you want the best tacos in Delaware.

Georgetown has a great, small-town feel, and many of these taquerias are within walking distance of the Circle at the center of town.

1. La Mexicana, on Race Street, has been a favorite place for authentic Mexican food for years.

4. Jalapeno Restaurant has been the talk of the town since it opened a few years ago.

5. El Gran Charro is an authentic restaurant hiding in the Radioshack shopping center, near WalMart. You wouldn't know it was there if you didn't look for it!
