This Autumn Campfire Hike Is Every Delawarean’s Dream Come True

The Autumn Equinox is coming up, bringing the first day of Fall to the northern hemisphere. While plenty of people don’t celebrate this day in any special way, there are tons of Delawareans who are all too ready to rush out Summer and welcome the best season of the year. If you’re looking to kick off autumn with a bang, join the Delaware Nature Society for their Autumn Equinox Hike and Campfire.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/

Abbott’s Mill Nature Center is located at 15411 Abbotts Pond Rd., Milford, Delaware 19963, and the Autumn Equinox Hike and Campfire will be held Friday, September 21, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

You can find more details about the event on the Facebook page, here. Remember, the event is Members Only, but joining the Delaware Nature Society is quick and affordable, and you’ll be so glad you did when you realize the benefits that come with a membership.
