This Is The Newest State Park In Delaware And It’s Incredible
For years, Delawareans have been falling in love with the Auburn Heights Preserve, and now the legendary estate is officially a Delaware State Park. Thanks to tireless efforts from volunteers and Delaware State Parks, as well as the enormous generosity of the Marshall Family, Auburn Heights is now even more accessible and protected than ever.
This 360-acre state park can be found at 3000 Creek Rd., Hockessin, DE 19707.
Tours of the Marshall Steam Museum and the Marshall family mansion are available by appointment for groups of eight or more on non-event days. Tour tickets are $8 per person for either the mansion or museum tour or $14 for both. Call (302) 239-5687 for information or to schedule a tour, at least one week in advance of your visit.
