The POV Rooftop Lounge and Terrace sits atop the W Hotel. It’s known for many things including its fantastic food and fun nightlife activities.

But it’s probably best known for its views of downtown DC and some of the most well known buildings, monuments and memorials in the district.

The wrap-around terrace gives visitors a view of the White House Lawn, the Mall, the Tidal Basin and the Washington Monument.

Inside POV, there are floor to ceiling windows that also give incredible views, as well as, unique and artsy decor.

POV is open from 11am to midnight during the week and 2am on the weekends. The vibe you experience will definitely depend on the time of day you choose to visit.

If you prefer a low-key and quiet ambiance, we recommend going during the day and enjoying brunch or lunch.
