Lupo tries to stay as authentic Italian as possible. They even have a ‘curing room" where meats like sausage and pancetta hang to age. The menu has a Southern Italian flare featuring seafood and pastas. Try the squid ink pasta for the full experience.

The Capitol Hill restaurant offers Tuscan cuisine with fresh fish and great pastas. The entire restaurant is quite charming and you will feel like you’ve been transported to the Italian countryside.

This tiny Shaw restaurant is a favorite in the neighborhood. It’s a small spot but you’ll feel like you’re part of the family throughout the meal and their food, including their homemade pasta, is on point
