There are two things you should know about Washington DC. We love food and we love festivals. And we just happen to be experts in both. For this reason, you definitely want to make sure you add these fun and delicious food festivals to your calendar for 2017! These are the best food festivals to hit in Washington DC.

1. Taste of DC
Every year, Taste of DC takes over Pennsylvania Avenue for two days of food, drinks and entertainment. You can enjoy multiple stages with live music, a beer garden, and demonstrations from some of the most famous chefs and brewmasters in the country. This year’s festival will take place October 8-9.
2. Around the World Cultural Food Festival

Truckeroo is an ongoing food festival. It’s a monthly showcase of DC’s food trucks. Stop by one Friday a month from April to September to sample the many different types of foods and flavors there.

Alexandria’s annual event is a lively festival where local restaurants compete for the best appetizer, main course and dessert. Visitors can sample foods, listen to live music and try delicious wines at this fun community event.

Food Festivals is a celebration of culture and foods from Latin America and the Caribbean. Enjoy cultural music and dance performances and shop for cultural crafts at this annual event.
