The farm store is called the Apple Barrel and it's a great place to pick up award-winning pies. You can find a variety of fruit and seasonal pies here in multiple sizes. Everything is made from scratch and hand-pressed. We're partial to the hi-top apple pie, but everything here is great.

Your next stop is the equally-tasty Elmwood Pastry Shop in West Hartford. This spot has been delighting Nutmeg State residents since 1948.
