Here’s Connecticut’s Top Outdoor Attraction… And You’ll Definitely Want To Do It
When choosing an outdoor attraction, not just any park will do. It has to be more than just waterslides or pretty views. It has to be the kind of unique experience you just couldn’t get anywhere else. Excited? Your friends and family will be, too! Turns out there are only 15 exclusively dinosaur parks in the whole country, and one of them is right here at home in Connecticut. If you haven’t paid a visit to this gem yet, I bet you will soon!
The Dinosaur Place is located in Oakdale, but you'll think you're on a totally different planet.
As soon as you arrive, you're greeted by an angry T-Rex, but in the winter he looks quite jolly in his costume. There is food and ice cream for purchase so don't worry about packing light on this one!

Get ready to feel like you're at Jurassic Park, but without the fear of being eaten. This is a fantastic trip for those hot summer days, especially if you're bringing along the kids. But folks of all ages will appreciate the incredible way this places captures wonder.
Even your dreams of being an archaeologist can be fulfilled here.
That means it's never too hot to take a trip down here! If you start to overheat, head on over and get some wet summer fun before finishing your journey. The only thing larger than the water drops here are the dinosaurs themselves.
