Old Saybrook is a small coastal town in Southern Connecticut. It's home to 15 sites on the National Register of Historic Places and was the hometown of Katharine Hepburn.
Fresh Salt, a local waterfront restaurant, is one of the best places to grab a lobster roll and is also a popular evening hangout for adults looking to unwind. The bar seating surrounds a table top fire pit to keep you warm.

Saybrook Point Marina provides access for boating on the Long Island Sound and is a great place to catch morning views. No wonder people think this place is so cool. There's just so much to see and do!
The local Harvey Beach is a must visit spot for families with young children. Visit at low tide and watch as the beach turns into a toddler friendly splash zone. Soft sand and calm waves make it perfect for pitching a picnic or taking a barefoot walk.
The borough of Fenwick is located here as well. In addition to being a popular summer colony, it also has its own claim to fame. At just 67 residents it's the least populous municipality in Connecticut! So if Old Saybrook isn't small enough for you, you can go even smaller.
Want to visit the surrounding towns? Lucky for you, Old Saybrook has a gorgeous coastal drive to help you out. Route 154 runs from the town to Haddam, allowing for great sights and a lovely sea breeze. You just have to get out here and experience it first hand.
