The Newly Reopened Mattatuck Museum In Connecticut Is A Weekend Visit Worth Taking

Good news! After a two-year restoration project, the Mattatuck Museum is ready to greet visitors. It’s time to take a weekend day trip and visit an old friend. New collections and exhibits have been added to the museum and the educational program has been extended.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. Visiting hours to the museum are Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Evening hours are available on Thursdays. 20 guests are welcomed in every 15 minutes and guests are encouraged to keep visits to approximately 50-60 minutes in length. Reservations for timed tickets can be at mattmuseum.org.
