A Trip To Connecticut’s Neverending Daffodil Field Will Make Your Spring Complete
Spring has sprung, which means that it’s time to stop and smell the roses. Or, in this case, daffodils! Not many people know that there’s a place you can go just to soak in the sights of these flowers. The waterfront locale is actually private property but you’re free to visit through May 14th. Laurel Ridge Farm is located on Wigwam Road, Litchfield, CT 06759. There is no admission fee and you’re welcome to roam freely from dawn until dusk. Check out the daffodil field now:
Thousands of daffodils bloom every year at Laurel Ridge, making it the perfect place to go for a spring day trip.
The springtime sanctuary began in 1941 with the first daffodils being planted by Remy and Virginia Morosani. The flowers have been popping back up ever since!
