2017 update: we’re sad to report that Go Ape adventure park in New Britain is no longer operating. We had some great times here and this park will be sorely missed.
A canopy walk is probably the closest you’ll ever come to living life in the wild. So channel your inner Tarzan and spend some time among the trees. This canopy walk is more than just a light stroll through the tree tops. It also has a zipline, obstacles, and a number of interesting bridge crossings. You will love exploring nature from the sky!
Located at A.W. Stanley Park in New Britain, this trail is classified as a canopy tour. Hosted by the company Go Ape!, their motto is "live life adventurously," so it's no surprise they've built something truly incredible in the forest.
Think you can make it through the various types of crossings?
Of course you can! This course is totally safe. Especially since you're strapped in the whole time. The course includes 40 different crossings, like the Wobbly Ladder and the Flying Carpet.
The only way to complete this course is to embrace it. The view might be a little scary, but it will also be really pretty. Not to mention the fact that the adrenaline rush will propel you forward. You might surprise yourself!
If you've ever been to A.W. Stanley Park then you know you're in for a real treat. The views you get from the course will show you a new angle, but it's nothing compared to the view from the zip line!
At 900 feet, this is the longest zip line in the state!
