Connecticut’s beaches have some beautiful scenery and tend to draw many visitors during the hot summer months. Further inland there is a spot that boasts some of the clearest water to be found. This little swimming hole has a great recreation area and some pretty awesome scenery. Black Rock Pond isn’t the biggest freshwater swimming spot, but it is one of the prettiest around.

Black Rock Pond is located in the 444-acre Black Rock State Park in Watertown.
