This Beach-Themed Restaurant In Connecticut Will Transport You Straight To The Ocean

There are so many great beaches in Connecticut that it’s not difficult at all to spend a day lounging by the water, toes in the sand as you’re serenaded by the sound of waves crashing ashore. We’re advocates for year-round beach-going, and there’s nothing wrong with visiting the shore in the winter or fall, but truth be told, it does get a little cold sometimes. If you’re not able to head to the beach, due to weather or other reasons, you can do the next best thing with a visit to a beach-themed restaurant in Connecticut. We’ve got several in our many little shore towns, and one of the best is The Beach House Cafe in Old Greenwich. It’s a few blocks away from the water, but the nautical decor and seafood-laden menu will have you feeling like you’re right by the ocean!

Step inside, and it's so easy to forget you're not lounging on the beach. The restaurant's name is so fitting, because the decor and vibe feel exactly like you're in a beach house.

The bar is beautiful, and there's an extensive selection of drinks to choose from. Wine is available by the glass or bottle, or you can opt for beer or one of a number of cocktails.

The menu consists of seafood, burgers, and salads. There's something for everyone here.

The beautifully-presented food is incredibly delicious.

All of the seafood tastes like it came practically straight off of the boat and into the kitchen!
