One Of The World’s Greatest Car Collections Is Hiding In This Unassuming Colorado Town
Do you (or somebody you know) have an affinity for old cars? Come to find out, the Centennial State is actually home to one of the most significant car collections globally, and you can visit! If this revs your engine, read on as we take a look at the Rambler Ranch:
Located in Elizabeth, the Rambler Ranch is a hidden gem that is home to the largest collection of AMC vehicles in the world!
Billed as being “well worth the price of admission” and “an absolute must-see,” the Rambler Ranch features the most comprehensive collection of Nash, Rambler, AMC, Jeep, and Eagle vehicles, with a goal of historical preservation and education.
In addition to the cars themselves, the seven buildings on the Rambler Ranch house "Kelvinator appliances and various associated products, advertising, promotional materials, toys, collectibles," and more ephemera than anywhere else in the world.
You will feel like you have hopped into a time machine when you visit the Rambler Ranch!
Admission to the Rambler Ranch is donation-based, with the average donation for the two to three-hour tour being $20 per person.
