Colorado was just named one of the best places in America to travel… are you surprised? While we all know that Colorado is THE best state in the country, it still brings us joy when we see the Centennial State mentioned in a national publication, such as TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice 2021 Best of the Best list:
The results are in, and as per TripAdvisor's 2021 Trending Destinations list, Estes Park and Breckenridge are 2 of the best places to travel this year!
"Even during a topsy-turvy year, these destinations were on the upswing, growing in popularity, gaining positive reviews, and fueling wanderlust in travelers eager to get back out there," teases TripAdvisor, which ranks Estes Park as #7 and Breckenridge as #11.
According to TripAdvisor, Estes is a no-brainer not only for its "world-class hiking, rock climbing, backcountry skiing, and scenic drives," but also for its small-town feel, ample local shopping and dining, and world-class wildlife sightings.
In addition to Estes, TripAdvisor goes on to also gush about Breckenridge, citing how the historic mining town has morphed from its Old West beginnings into a stunning mountain destination complete with outdoor recreation galore, festivals and events, and a vibrant, can't-beat Main Street.
