12 Things That Will Always Make Coloradans Think Of Home
Wherever you come from and wherever you roam, there will always be something to remind you of home. (Is it just me or did I totally miss my calling as a poet?) Coloradans are obviously not exempt from this fact of life, which is why these 12 things will always remind us of our beloved home:
It may not be our first choice for beer (See: local microbrews), but by golly, Colorado is home to the Silver Bullet and we have nothing but mad respect for this reasonably priced buzz!
Colorado doesn't necessarily make more honey than other states (or maybe it does... let me do some research and get back to you on it), but we love this sweet nectar for its primary purpose: to use as a dip for our soft and pillowy Beau Jo's pizza crust.
While out-of-staters would cower and run from a 32-foot-tall, 9,000-pound man-eating horse, a Coloradan's first thought is, "Awe, Blucifer... I must be back in Denver!"
Ah yes; the official meal of Colorado! On the weekend, there is nothing better than sleeping in, getting up, and walking the dog to your local Snooze.
What? You didn't think that Colorado was only mountains, did you? (If you answered yes, you have obviously never visited the majestic Centennial State!)
Do you know what it smells like when you run over a skunk? Coloradans often mistake that stench for weed, but in other places, it is indeed the smell of an odorous rodent that met its final demise via car tire.
"Awe, I love 'Better Call Saul'! It makes me homesick for Frank 'The Strong Arm' Azar!"
Who run the world? No, not girls (sorry, Beyonce), but dogs. Dogs run the world... and every Coloradan knows it!
