14 More Towns In Colorado That Have The Strangest Names You’ll Ever See (Part II)
Last summer, we
brought you 13 of the strangest town names in all of Colorado. Lucky for us, the list doesn’t stop there! Here are 14 more funny, wacky and just plain bizarre Colorado towns:
Located in Montrose County, Bedrock is a page right out of history that promises its residents a yabba dabba doo time!
2. Spook City
In my mind, this is what the old mining town looks like... so I most likely won't be visiting anytime soon.
I call it "Schlink"--because it's more fun to say!
4. Mumper Corner
Mumper Corner, Colorado? I find the name (and the fact that I have never heard of this Greeley suburb) just plain confusing.
No caption needed for this town located "high" up the Western Slope.
6. Old Roach
You couldn't kill this Larimer County ghost town if you tried!
What it lacks in Google search results it makes up in literally everything else.
8. Wide Awake
My toddler would like to challenge this ghost town at 6 a.m. ... We'll see who's *really* wide awake!
You can't make this stuff up, folks.
10. Sugar City
Who wants to move with me to this magical sounding Crowley County town?!
The town your mother warned you about...
And I thought Fort Collins was a pain to write!
The snitchiest town in all of Colorado.
14. Holy Moses
When you say the name, be sure to sound scared, shocked, and/or excited.
