Here Are The 4 Smartest Cities In Colorado

Let’s face it: Anyone who calls Colorado “home” has to be somewhat smart…I mean, you have the mountains, plains, beautiful cities and all four seasons in the same place–what more could you possibly need?! If you think I’m being a biased Coloradoan, (which I’m not, of course) you’re wrong, as CNN recently named Colorado the THIRD smartest state in the country based on the percentage of residents with a college and/or advanced degree. So if Colorado is one of the smartest states, which cities are the smartest? I’m glad you asked! Read on as we uncover 4 of the smartest cities in Colorado (in no particular order).

Colorado Springs ranked #5 of the 150 large cities studied for WalletHub's "2015 Most and Least Educated Cities" report. Does this come as a surprise? Not at all! The Springs boasts some of the highest scores in the country in terms of education level, quality of education and overall student enrollment.

Denver also made WalletHub's list, coming in at #16. Why did it rank so high? Because of its high education level and overall population of well-educated residents. Why did it rank lower than the Springs? Because the quality of Denver's schools and overall enrollment are lower.
