Opened in the summer of 1956, Santa’s Workshop began as 25-acre village featuring artisan shops, puppet shows and, of course, visits with Jolly Old St. Nick himself. A few short years later, the park began expanding, eventually bringing in the iconic rides and attractions that are beloved to this day.

"#throwbackthursday to our old petting zoo in the 1950's!! White deer, goats, sheep, burros, ducks and peacocks roamed the park to the delight of young and old. Special food and bottled milk were available for guests to feed the animals."
