Not Many People In Colorado Know This Magical Place Even Exists

There is no denying that Christmas is the most magical time of the year… but what if you could prolong the season and stretch it out to last more than half a year? Thanks to this somewhat unknown Colorado gem, you can.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Opened in the summer of 1956, Santa’s Workshop began as 25-acre village featuring artisan shops, puppet shows and, of course, visits with Jolly Old St. Nick himself. A few short years later, the park began expanding, eventually bringing in the iconic rides and attractions that are beloved to this day.

Today the Pikes Peak attraction features more than 28 rides, restaurants and unique shows that are perfect for the entire family! For more information on the park, when it opens, and more of its history, be sure to visit their website.
